I am considered a “Boomer”. Huh!  I would like to be ‘booming’ with my partner of 38 years, but alas, that was not to be.

So, here I am – entrenched in what I hope is the middle of my life.  I write about my experiences – personal and professional, within the realms of my world. As in life, humor plays a large part. Some of my references and writings may be irreverent, coarse and downright rude, but hey, I’m keepin’ it real! My personal and professional lives are often full of coarse, rude and frankly very unpleasant people and incidents.  But I guess, despite all that I would be considered ‘happy’. Happy with myself and my family, friends and life in general. It throws you a curve ball now and again, but mixed metaphors apart, as long as you get right back on the horse and keep going, you’ll be ok.

If you would like to know more about our life as we traveled through what FTD threw at us – check out my book:

“The Dance -Our Journey Through Frontotemporal Degeneration”

available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle versions.

I am sure the blog is very helpful to people going through a similar situation. You make the whole thing seem easier to understand. Hope u keep writing, keep up the good, u r an inspiration 🙂

    1. Awwww -thanks Wendy! I am flattered and honored. You have had a tough year yourself and have really bared your soul out here. You deserve recognition for that. I hope you are doing as well as can be expected. Keep your chin up and thanks again for the vote of confidence.

  2. Hi Deborah, could you email me (threadgoldpress@waitrose.com)? I just want to give you a message from another FTD wife. Thanks, Hilary
